Prior to the chapter's Winter 2012 Quarterly Meeting FBI Director Robert Mueller gave the keynote address at the RSA 2012 conference.
 
Director Mueller talked about cyber threats to U.S. national security, the FBI's role in addressing these threats, and the increasing importance of public-private sector partnerships. The Director also highlighted the InfraGard information-sharing program as a partnership with the private sector.

InfraGard is a unique national partnership between the private sector and the U.S. government represented by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The San Francisco Bay Area InfraGard Chapter has been established in partnership with the FBI San Francisco Division. The San Francisco Bay Area InfraGard Chapter is one of 85 chapters in the FBI's InfraGard network and a member of the InfraGard National Members Alliance.
