SF Bay Area InfraGard Chapter

InfraGard is a Partnership between the private sector and the U.S. government represented by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)

The InfraGard initiative has been developed to encourage the exchange of information by the government and InfraGard members.

The FBI plays the part of facilitator by:

  • gathering information and distributing it to InfraGard members
  • educating the public and members on critical infrastructure protection issues
  • disseminating information through the InfraGard network
  • producing valuable analytical products on information received through the InfraGard network
  • opening the doors of communication between government and private sector members.

The mission of the San Francisco Bay Area InfraGard Chapter is:

a.  To facilitate the sharing of information and best practices among members.

b.  To enable proactive and reliable bi-directional communications on critical infrastructure protection between Bay area industry and government.

c.  To provide a program of activities (meetings, conferences, seminars) for its membership and other public and private sector partners that will foster education, information gathering and dissemination, and the development of analytical products.

The San Francisco InfraGard Chapter is one of 86 chapters in the FBI InfraGard network and a member of the InfraGard Members Alliance.  Activities of the San Francisco InfraGard Chapter are administered by the InfraGard San Francisco Bay Area Members Alliance, a California, public benefit, 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation managed by an elected Board of Directors.
